If people ask me for a recommendation in Bristol, time and time again it’s The Galli that I suggest. For drinks and live music, for a special dinner, for after work drinks, for awesome Sunday roasts…. It’s always great, it’s always well priced and I always feel so welcomed. Fresh, Ethical, Locally
We’re as careful with our sourcing of ingredients as we are with our cooking. Samways Fish Merchants only offer sustainably sourced fish. They take provenance to the point where you can even find out which boat the fish were caught from! Buxtons are great craft butchers offering meat sourced from their lush rural surrounds. From further afield, Melveco supply us with what we believe to be the finest charcuterie, vinegars and oils. We take great pride in sourcing the freshest of seasonal vegetables the West Country has to offer.

Monday to Saturday, there’s a tasty selection of brunch dishes, from eggs to sandwiches to pub staples like fish & chips. The ‘Galli hangover cure’ – a hearty combination of mackerel, chorizo, potato & red peppers, all cooked in a skillet, comes highly recommended!
We take great pride in our Sunday roasts. Depending on availability we offer a choice of overnight rump of beef, leg of lamb, confit belly of pork and free range chicken. Our vegan nut roast – currently cashew and pecan – is a tasty alternative. All served with seasonal vegetables.
