Drawing from a wide variety of sonic sources including jazz, art rock, classical and electronic music, Deems Experiment is a collaborative, improvised project with rotating musicians, selected for their commitment to free improvisation and communication through music.

Their audiences are treated to rich rhythmic interplay that flirts with odd time signatures, and deeply evocative progressions. Their performances are conversations where the individual voices of the collective coalesce to create a sonic landscape that pushes boundaries.

Deems Experiment returns with new material and an EP dropping later this year. Expect off kilter beats, emotional progressions, and a variety of personalities in this 6 piece collective.
